Hey there! This is Kent! I am a Front End Engineer in Silicon Valley who aspires to create rich user-experience web applications. I studied Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley, where I acquired extensive knowledge of engineering. After graduation and a year of military service in Taiwan, I found my passion in software, particularly in the field of web development. I went on to join a software developer training program and get my M.S. degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University this May.
My experience of working as front end developer intern and freelancer with several small businesses and clients on building various web-based projects has honed my HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills. I have also worked on side projects with front-end frameworks such as React and Angular, and I can create responsive layouts without using UI frameworks. I love learning new technologies and incorporating them into my on-going projects to build state-of-the-art web apps. I am very detail-oriented, which helps deliver intuitive and pixel-perfect user interface across all devices.
